Follow these steps to start generating stunning images with Midjourney and explore the creative potential of AI-generated art.

Step 1 ✦ Install Discord and join the Midjourney server.

• First, download and install the Discord app on your device, or access it via the web.
• Once you have Discord set up, join the Midjourney server by using the invite link provided on the Midjourney website or here discord.com/invite/midjourney
• Once you have joined the server, you will be able to access the Midjourney bot and use its commands to generate images.
• It is important to note that you must be a member of the Midjourney server in order to use the bot's commands.
• You may also be asked to accept the terms and conditions before accessing the server.
• Once you're in the Midjourney community, navigate to the Newcomer rooms. These are designated channels that are typically named "newbies-XXX," and are designed to help newcomers get started with Midjourney. You can choose any of these channels to begin exploring the features of Midjourney and generating images from text prompts

Step 2 ✦ Activate the Midjourney bot using commands, such as "/imagine" followed by your prompt.

To use the Midjourney Bot, you'll need to use a designated Bot channel and a Discord Slash Command. For example, if you're in the #newbies-1 channel, start typing "/imagine" to see an option appear above your text. Click or tap on the "/imagine" option to create a prompt field where you can enter the details of what you want the bot to generate, as shown in the video below.

You can also create the prompt field using the Spacebar, Tab, or Enter keys. However, it's important to note that Bot slash commands will only work in designated Bot channels. If you type the "/imagine" command in regular channels, such as #trial-support, it will not work.

Once you're satisfied with your prompt, press Enter to deliver your request to the Midjourney AI bot. The bot will generate your images in about 60 seconds, giving you plenty of time to explore and fine-tune your results.
